Aims

This programme aims to equip future secondary school, baccalaureate, vocational training and language teachers with a specialist theoretical and practical background specifically for the teaching profession while also ensuring they have the required credentials:

  • It focuses on offering preparation which enables the student to develop the professional competences needed to carry out the tasks required of compulsory secondary education, baccalaureate, vocational training and language teachers.
  • Students acquire knowledge of the teaching skills, attitudes and values needed to design teaching-learning processes, implement them in schools and in their classrooms and assess them. They also learn to coordinate their teaching tasks with other aspects of the educational community (staff, families, students and social environment).
  • The programme looks to form individuals who will perform their professional duties guided by respect for fundamental rights, democratic values and the culture of peace, and belief in equal opportunity between men and women and persons with disabilities.
  • Students learn the values required to foster all round education of their students with ethical criteria that encourage responsible professional teaching.
