Entrance requirements
The Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology is designed for graduates and professionals in Psychology and/or the Health Sciences field who are interested in acquiring the necessary competences in the Neuropsychology field. Applicants must hold a degree in the field of Psychology and/or Health Sciences.
Graduate profile
Students who completed their Master's degree in Clinical Neuropsychology have a solid background, enabling them to work in the following areas:
- Neuropsychological evaluation tests
- Integral rehabilitation of patients and their family members
- Knowledge of neuroimaging techniques
- Diagnosis and treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurological and/or psychiatric illnesses.
Admission criteria
In addition to the entry requirements established in the current legislation, admission criteria include:
- To be admitted to the Master’s programme, candidates must receive a favourable assessment. This assessment will take into account the following:
1. Academic transcript (40% weight on assessment).
2. Motivation to do this programme. To assess motivation the following criteria will be considered: Professional objectives, attitudes and values relevant to the programme of study. (25% weight on assessment).
3. Teamwork capacity (5% weight on assessment).
4. Previous professional experience in this field, other postgraduate or continuing education study field related to the master’s (20% weight on assessment).
5. Knowledge of other languages (10% weight on assessment).
