Aims

  • Acquire the skills, attitude and knowledge needed to practise law, in keeping with professional ethics and legal regulations.
  • Acquire a working methodology appropriate for this advanced level of study and a solid base for legal practice.
  • Develop the skills, knowledge and attitude required for all aspects of the legal profession.
  • Reach a competent level of oral and written expression, in addition to good argument and teamwork skills.
  • Show quick responses, flexibility and a capacity for dialogue, ethical behaviour and a commitment to quality.
  • Achieve good reasoning skills appropriate to this level of study.
  • Apply the knowledge acquired in an interdisciplinary manner, with a creative critical attitude.
  • Create a study framework that enables students to achieve excellence by enhancing the knowledge acquired in their undergraduate studies, with a focus on each of the taxes now in effect, analysed from the perspective of general and regional regulations.
  • Foster ethical standards of respect and promotion of fundamental rights, democratic values and the culture of peace.
  • Develop the skills needed to make the best possible use of resources to solve complex tax issues.
  • Develop the skills required to critically analyse tax policy as expressed in law, with a view to compliance, reforms or repeals.
  • Prepare students to enter companies working in this field or work on their own.
  • Promote students’ critical spirit.
  • Raise questions about the subject and learn about the methodology and conceptual tools needed to solve them through research.
