PhD in Psychology, University of Santiago de Compostela (2017) with the following doctoral thesis: “Rendimiento cognitivo en el proceso de envejecimiento: contribución de los factores biopsicosociales – ELES"(cognitive performance in ageing, the contribution of biopsychosocial factors), Master’s degree in Child and Adult Clinical Neuropsychology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, 2007. She has worked in R&D in Spain and abroad in the Ingema gerontology programme. She has received numerous awards for her research. Examples include the Premio Obra Social Caja Madrid for the best social research project, Research award from the Foundation Colegio de Huérfanos de Hacienda (CHH) or the IMSERSO- Princess Cristina for Social Studies and Research Award. She has worked in Nesplora since 2016 as coordinator of the European project VRMIND-Virtual Reality Based Evaluation of Mental Disorders.
