Ioseba Iraurgi Castillo holds a BA in Philosophy and Educational Science (Psychology) and a PhD in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Bilbao campus.Ioseba Iraurgi Castillo teaches BA courses on Psychology and MA courses on Mental Health and Psychological Therapies, Drug Dependencies and Other Addictions, and Psychology of Social Intervention. Specifically, he teaches BA level Practicum I and Research Topics in Psychology II. He also teaches several MA level subjects in the area of Assessment, clinics and health.Ioseba Iraurgi Castillo is Head Researcher in the Assessment, Clinics and Health research team, which has been recognized by the University of Deusto (R2008). His publications (194) mainly focus on clinical psychology, psychology of addictions, and methodology applied to the assessment of results and validation of psychometric instruments. He is currently working on the development of methodologies for the assessment of therapeutic results, both in their statistical and their clinical significance.
