All of the postgraduate studies offered by the University of Deusto, in Spanish or English, have been designed in compliance with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) guidelines and adapted to the European credit transfer system. The international and inter-university degrees are especially tailored to one of the key aims of the EHEA: creating spaces for innovation, exchange and experimentation in new models for higher education. These studies are open to graduates who wish to continue second cycle or Deusto degree studies as well as professionals eager to learn new competences, update their knowledge and continue learning. In the 2010-2011 academic year, faculties and schools at the University of Deusto will offer a total of 64 (33 are Masters with offi cial Spanish diplomas and 31 are Deusto Diplomas) organized into 8 specialist subject areas:
