Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme for the field of higher education. It aims to enhance the quality of higher education in Europe and prompt intercultural understanding through cooperation with third countries. The programme looks to strengthen European cooperation and international ties in higher education by financing top quality European Master's programmes. This enables students and academic staff from all over the world to do postgraduate work at European universities and favours mobility of European students to third countries.
