Briefings

Which is the link between the Social Impact and the briefings?

As part of the research on social impact carried out by DEUSTO, an internal call was issued to select research projects with high potential for social impact and to support a number of publications related to DEUSTO’s "SOCIAL IMPACT OF RESEARCH" Master Plan.

In the 2016 call, six publications (briefings) were selected and work is currently being carried out on the development of the publication scheduled for the end of the year.

The briefings are brief monographs aimed at social institutions, users, policy makers or companies with the dual aim of highlighting the transforming action of Deusto’s research, and the relationship of this research to the university’s mission by addressing themes that include development, welfare or social justice.

The ultimate aim is to make Deusto’s research outcomes be easily understood by the social partners and to help them meet the social transformation challenges they face by providing them with best practices, guidelines or recommendations.
